Former Hong Kong bishop pessimistic about religious freedom as Beijing tightens grip on city

Hong Kong’s former Catholic bishop, Cardinal Joseph Zen Ze-kiun, said he is “pessimistic” about religious freedom after following a move by mainland Chinese authorities to enact a national security law in the city.
