Interestingly, Jaya stopped her cavalcade to meet a common man. What transpired afterwards isn't quite clear, except slogans from AIADMK cadres venerating 'Puratchi Thalaivi'. A noble gesture indeed, that we take with a pinch of salt, it being election season after all!
