Snakes can be good Pets if you give them proper care and on proper time. Usually pet snakes are kept inside a cage but some people prefer to keep them with themselves all the time. This thing can only be done when you have built enough trust. Although I don't recommend this. Inside the cage they will behave properly if you feed them the right food at the right time.
