Denosa in Limpopo is raising concerns over the shortage of nurses and what they call overstretched healthcare workers. In a statement, the organisation says despite the Limpopo health department’s efforts to increase bed capacity to accommodate as many COVID-19 patients as possible, this is not enough. It has called on provincial authorities to deal with the shortage of nurses and other healthcare workers.
