The Contingency Fund of India is the emergency funds reserved for unforeseen expenditures. It is released by the President under Article 276 before cleared by the Parliament. The Consolidated fund of India includes the revenues generated by the government through direct and indirect taxes, and expenses incurred due to loans or borrowings.
