Former Wits University Vice Chancellor is receiving backlash for using the N-word during a virtual meeting with students in the UK. Habib can be heard in a clip circulating on social media saying he comes from a part of world where the use of the word is acceptable. Students at the SOAS University of London were left dismayed by Habib's utterances. He is the director of the institution. Students were unimpressed with Habib's attempts to explain himself.
