Afriforum has applied to the State Capture Inquiry to cross-examine president Cyril Ramaphosa. The commission confirmed on Wednesday that the president will be appearing next month. Afriforum’s deputy CEO and head of Policy and Action, Ernst Roets, says the organisation wants to question Ramaphosa on his time as chair of the ANC’s Cadre Deployment Committee between 2013 and 2016.
