Indian Railways earn from many things including freight and passenger fares. Most of these income is from freight. Railways have broken all records of freight earnings in the last financial year. The freight service of the Indian Railways has achieved three per cent more revenue by the end of the financial year 2020-21 than the previous financial year.
भारतीय रेल माल ढुलाई और यात्री किराए समेत कई चीजों से कमाई करती है. इनमें से सबसे ज़्यादा आय माल ढुलाई से होती है. रेलवे ने पिछले वित्त वर्ष में माल ढुलाई से कमाई के सारे रिकॉर्ड तोड़ दिए हैं. भारतीय रेलवे की माल ढुलाई सेवा ने वित्त वर्ष 2020-21 के अंत तक पिछले वित्त वर्ष की अपेक्षा तीन फीसदी अधिक राजस्व हासिल किया है.
