Heavy rainfall and an existing landslip came together to deal a final blow to a house along Baboolal Trace, Mayo.
It collapsed over the weekend leaving a 59 year-old unemployed woman homeless.
She tells reporter Cindy Raghubar-Teekerisngh that a group of villagers is willing to assist in rebuilding a house for her.
However, she cannot afford to buy the necessary material and is tonight asking the public for any help they can give.
