Violence was reported from at least 18 districts of #UttarPradesh during elections for panchayat block chiefs on Saturday, with #Etawah seeing stone-pelting and firing at Barhpura block. During the violence, the complaint of a senior Uttar Pradesh police officer on a call with bosses has gone viral. Reportedly in a viral video, Etawah #ASP (City) can be heard saying ‘#BJPLeaders’ had brought bombs and slapped him.
