The Prime Minister says his comment about the now-scrapped plan to install astroturf on the Nelson Mandela Park "is in no way a reflection on the professional conduct of the Mayor of Port of Spain.
The Prime Minister clarified he had not verbally reprimanded the Mayor but sought to raise concern that the Port of Spain City Corporation was "possibly being led astray by the supposedly unsolicited proposal."
