Indian workers stranded in Kabul requested the government to evacuate them from Afghanistan as the country descended into chaos following the takeover by the Taliban. "What will happen to us after the US Army leaves?" Prakash Tamang, a worker who hails from Dehradun in Uttarakhand, told AajTak. Tamang went to Kabul for work. His family live in Dehradun's Uttarakhand.
