At least 60 Afghans and 13 US troops were killed on Thursday as two suicide bombers and gunmen attacked crowds of Afghans that had swarmed the Kabul airport in a desperate attempt to flee the Taliban rule. Following the incident, US President Joe Biden has vowed to "hunt" down the terrorists and make them "pay" for the deadly attacks.
