The U.S. 10-year Treasury yield was flat Thursday after initial jobless claims fell from the week prior for the third-straight week. The number of initial jobless claims filed last week totaled 375,000, in line with estimates from economists surveyed by Dow Jones. The yield on the benchmark 10-year Treasury note was unchanged at 1.361% by 4:00 p.m. ET. The yield on the 30-year Treasury bond was flat at 2.005%. The Federal Reserve is watching the labor market recovery to determine when to start winding down its ultra-easy policies.
