AMC Entertainment (AMC@US) announced on Wednesday that it would accept cryptocurrency for both ticket and concessions payments. CEO Adam Aron released the news on Twitter (TWTR@US), noting that crypto acceptance should be in place by the end of 2021. While the theater chain is accepting Bitcoin—as most expected—the firm also plans to accept Ethereum, Litecoin, and Bitcoin Cash. AMC stock fluctuated in the $47 range in premarket trading.
