The Public Protector has found the healthcare system in the country is crumbling. She carreid out an investigation into public hospitals in Limpopo, Mpumalanga, KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng. Her report showed staff shortages, poor infrastructure, dilapidated buildings and lack of laundry services. Nursing union, Denosa, says the report confirms what it's been raising for years.
