Scores of people have been rendered unemployed following a fire which destroyed at least nine businesses in the Autoplex at Bamboo Settlement Number Two. Firefighters worked last night into this morning to extinguish the blaze. Their efforts were hampered by the absence of fire hydrants in the area.
