There's a problem with the collection of data on mental health issues in the country.
At a Joint Select Committee to examine access to quality mental healthcare, the Ministry of Health revealed that it is in the process of establishing a National Mental Health Information System.
But the Ministry was unable to say when this system would become a reality.
