Victim taxi driver Jessie Mejulo Modancia positively identified the two ‘holdap’ suspects to MPD-Station 7 Abad Santos Tondo Station PMaj. Edwin B. Fuggal. Modancia escaped the suspects by jumping from his taxi after the suspects attempted to rob his taxicab. He then asked the members of the MPD - Tactical Motorcycle Riders Unit (TMRU) for help who, at the same time, were conducting surveillance in the area. The police seized from the two suspects a replica of 45 cal and an Uzi with ammunition.(MB Video by Ali Vicoy)
