: "I remember visiting Canberra about 15 years ago and there was a girl about twenty years old holding a sign that said “Free Hugs.”
I thought that it was such a good, happy thing to do, so I asked her if I could use her sign for a little while and I gave away free hugs for a short while.
I decided to draw with chalk on my footpath two words “Hug Here” and people began to stop to hug."
