The Trade Minister said on Wednesday that the 33 per cent increase in the wholesale price of flour by National Flour Mills as an input item is not expected to result in a similar price increase in the cost of the finished items.
In response to questions from the Opposition in Parliament, Paula Gopee-Scoon described the price increases announced by NFM and Nutramix Flour Mills as "a temporary situation."
