The Old Schoolhouse on Great James Street has been used for everything - a school for girls, a gym, offices and even a beauty salon. Now, the building is owned by An Gaelaras, who also own and run Cultúlann Uí Chanáin, Acadamh Ceoil Chaoimhín Úi Dhochartaigh and An tSeaneaglais or the Glassworks. The Schoolhouse is now used as a youth club and is home to Club Óige Setanta, Derry's only Irish language youth club.
