I made a knife using a forged crucible out of metal shavings from under a band saw. The band saw blade turns out to be made of non-contrast steel and is difficult to see when curing, at the same time, steel shavings are present in the steel shavings of 15N20 steel, which form a dotted pattern on the finished blade.
