Commercial airliners - just like cars - have to get their technical inspections. Every five years airlines have to have its commercial fleet checked thoroughly. For this, the giants are completely dismantled. This time, a ten-year-old A340, the second largest passenger aircraft in the Airbus fleet, has to undergo its regular inspection.
