The award of road contracts in Tobago by the THA is being described as rooted in corruption, with a lack of accountability and transparency. This according to Minority Leader Kelvon Morris who has called for an independent investigation into the matter as a roofing company from Trinidad has received over $54 million in road contracts in Tobago.
But not only that, Mr. Morris has filed under the Freedom of Information Act for answers. Elizabeth Williams has more in this report.
