An illustrious team of singers and instrumentalists come together for an exciting celebration of contemporary British song spread over eight 45 minute concerts. The music, written by no less than ninety-six of the best of living British composers from all generations, was all commissioned by the recording company NMC, in celebration of its twentieth anniversary for an extravagant four-CD compendium, The NMC Songbook.
