USA Network has launched Character Project, an ongoing artistic initiative to capture the character of America and pay tribute to the extraordinary people, from all walks of life, who make this country unique. Marla Rutherford, one of 11 accomplished photographers participating in the project, shot portraits of individuals from around Los Angeles who had never before been professionally photographed.
