During Balikatan 23 at the Naval Education, Training, and Doctrine Command in the Philippines on April 25, 2023, the U.S. Army utilized Avenger air defense systems to fire .50 caliber rounds and a Stinger missile at a simulated aircraft as part of a littoral live fire event.
