Residents of Rees Road, Barrackpore resumed protest action this week after government failed to begin road repairs in their community last week.
But even as a Ministry of Works truck rolled in with some material on Wednesday, residents tried to stop it, demanding that asphalt paving, and not temporary boulders, be utilised.
As reporter Cindy Raghubar-Teekersingh tells us, this resulted in a class between police and at least one resident.
