The United Nations Secretary General is advocating what he calls a " just and equitable transition" from fossil fuels to renewable sources of energy which means not all countries need to be treated in the same way."
He was responding to a question about this country's unique circumstance as a small island developing state which is also a producer of oil and natural gas, posed by our Political Editor Juhel Browne during a media briefing hosted by Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley on Monday.
