Rising disasters in Hawaii--reports
Hawaii faces increasing disaster threats, especially wildfires, as shown by an AP analysis of FEMA records. Despite its paradise image, Hawaii is among the most vulnerable states to various climate and geological events, including storms, floods, earthquakes, tsunamis, and volcanoes. Recent data reveals a surge in fire disasters, with six declared this month alone, matching the total from 1953 to 2003.
