Participants aim to shift perceptions of eSports at Asian Games
Gold medals will be given in seven different games at the Asian Games in China. In 2018, gaming was a demonstration sport, and now the Asian Electronic Sports Federation hopes it will be included in the Olympics. For Sanindhiya Malik, India's medal hopeful in League of Legends, the Asian Games opening on Saturday, Sept. 23, 2023, marks a significant milestone for him and the eSports industry.
