Slovak's have 'bigger problems than Ukraine'
Slovakia's populist party, which opposes military aid to Ukraine and questions the EU and NATO, held a press conference after winning the parliamentary elections. The Smer-SD party, led by former prime minister Robert Fico, secured 23 percent of the vote on Saturday (September 30, 2023), surpassing the centrist Progressive Slovakia, which received 18 percent.
