The Foreign Affairs Minister has told the Senate that the Government is unaware that any of this country's nationals are in the Gaza Strip which continues to be the target of military operations by the Israel Defence Force, in response to an attack by militant group Hamas last month.
However, Dr Amery Browne said that while a small number of T&T nationals who requested assistance from the Foreign Affairs Ministry have been evacuated from Israel
there are five nationals who have opted to remain there.
