Queensland's Energy Minister says damage to the power grid in some storm affected areas on the Gold Coast is so severe it will need to be completely rebuilt. Over 45-thousand customers are still without electricity after severe storms ravaged the south-east of the state. Crews are aiming to re-supply power to 90 per-cent of affected homes by New Year’s Eve.
