The British High Commissioner to this country says "some people imprint themselves on the consciousness of a country and" she thinks former Prime Minister Basdeo Panday "did just that in Trinidad and Tobago."
But the British High Commissioner also reflected on the connection Mr Panday had to the United Kingdom, while she spoke with the media after signing a condolence book in memory of the former Prime Minister at the Red House on Thursday.
