Taiwan firecracker ceremony marks end of Lunar New Year
In northwestern Taiwan, people throw firecrackers at a god's effigy on the final day of the Lunar New Year to bring wealth and good fortune, continuing a tradition in Zhunan for over 150 years in gratitude to the fortune god Master Han Dan for saving the town from a plague.
