House leader reiterates Cha-cha push is on economic provision
House of Representatives Deputy Speaker David Suarez, in a press briefing on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, reiterates that the Resolution of Both Houses 7 (RBH 7) will only push for economic amendments in the 1987 Constitution. His response comes after the University of the Philippines in Diliman issued a statement against Charter Change, calling the reasoning against the push for Cha-cha to spur foreign investment was "thin."
