‘Standing with Giants’ - a tribute to the lost soldiers of the D-Day landings

Hundreds of soldier silhouettes have been installed in Normandy ahead of D-Day.
Constructed from black metal the figures overlook the Gold Beach where 25,000 British soldiers landed on June 6 1944.
