An elderly Penal woman is tonight calling on the Siparia Regional Corporation to step in and rectify a blocked watercourse near her home.
She says a neighbor recently built across a river causing her home and others to flood whenever rain falls, and then remain water-logged for weeks after.
She tells our reporter Cindy Raghubar-Teekersingh, the borough corporation gave assurances that they would intervene many times in the past, but to date the situation remains the same.
