The NTA's Political Leader, former Police Commissioner Gary Griffith says he is not impressed with the move by Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley to appointment the Member of Parliament for Port of Spain South, attorney-at-law Keith Scotland, as a Minister in the Ministry of National Security with responsibility for the Police.
Griffith says it now leaves Minister of National Security Fitzgerald Hinds with very little to do.
