Malvinder Singh Kang: Panjab University, Chandigarh is one of India's most renowned institutions, producing great leaders and Olympic medalists. I urge the Central Government to provide a special grant to Punjab University and release the pending funds for the PM Shri and PM Poshan Scheme. Despite 58,000 higher education institutions in India, only 12% of students pursue PG, and just 0.5-0.6% go for PhD.
