This is the moment police officers rescued residents from an apartment fire that was allegedly caused by an e-bike battery.
The officers, from the New York Police Department (NYPD), rushed towards the apartment building in Queens after being alerted by a bystander.
Bodycam footage from July 19 shows the officers breaking down a door to reach the apartment.
Fire sprinklers had already activated and the officers were able to put out the fire using a fire extinguisher
According to report, it is believed that the fire was caused by a lithium e-bike battery which overheated.
