The Maha Vikas Aghadi, comprising the Congress, Shiv Sena (UBT) and NCP (SP), has called for a "Maharashtra Bandh" on August 24 to highlight what they termed as the "total collapse" of the law-and-order situation in the state against the backdrop of the Badlapur incident where two minor girls were allegedly raped at a school.
