A lone Koopa travels by plane from Egypt to the Mushroom Kingdom, carrying knowledge of a long-lost legend. After the 12-hour flight, he sends a mysterious letter to the kingdom and returns to Egypt.
The next morning, Mario and Link wake from a peaceful sleep to discover the letter. It reveals the existence of five ancient power-ups hidden in Egypt for thousands of years. The Koopa urges the heroes to recover them and restore their legacy.
Tails prepares his plane, and the heroes—Mario, Link, Sonic, Kirby, and others—set off for Egypt. But Bowser, spying on them through a high-tech camera, grows enraged and launches an aerial attack. Two hours into the flight, a Bullet Bill strikes the plane, sending the heroes into a panic.
Luckily, Goku appears just in time to catch the plane and save everyone. Then, in classic Kirby fashion, Kirby eats the entire plane and Warp Stars the team directly to Egypt, spitting everyone out safely. While Tails repairs the aircraft, the Koopa briefs the heroes on their quest.
With surprising speed, Sonic locates all five legendary power-ups:
1.Invisible Power Up – grants temporary invisibility
2.Thunder Flower – unleashes electric-based attacks
3.Box Power Up – allows the user to morph into a solid cube for defense or stealth
4.Rock Power Up – enhances strength and durability
5.Jump Boost Power Up – increases jump height and speed
Grateful for their help, the Koopa documents the rediscovered power-ups in his history book, ensuring they won't be forgotten again.
