Samadhi means a deep meditative state. Nirvana means the highest paradise. Tathagatas means Buddhas. Bodhisattvas means spiritual practitioners. Dharma means true teaching. ~ The Surangama Sutra
TIBETAN BUDDHISM
“[During the ceremony] Milarepa said to the vase, ‘I am now too old, please initiate them yourself.’ Thereupon, the vase flew up into the sky, and initiated all the disciples one by one.
