The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has launched a new investigation into Tesla's Full Self-Driving system, focusing on its performance in poor visibility conditions. The probe was triggered after a Tesla driver using FSD struck and killed a pedestrian, alongside other FSD-involved crashes. The investigation covers over 2 million Tesla EVs in the US. The NHTSA tracks incidents involving Tesla's driver assistance systems, noting nearly 1,400 collisions and thirty-one fatalities.
