An Independent Senator says the anti-crime measures in the Government's 2025 Budget are a replication of the same failed measures.
And the Independent Senator says the Coast Guard is in dire straits and more needs to be done to improve this country's border protection.
This, as the Finance Minister spoke about the vessels to be acquired for the Coast Guard, as the Senate began its debate of the Budget on Monday.
