This family was enjoying a relaxing walk along the seafront at Barry Island.
They decided to stop for doughnuts, and as they enjoyed their treats, the seagulls began to circle overhead.
The family encouraged this little girl to try and attract the birds by holding up her donut high in the air.
Excited but a little unsure, she raised the donut, hoping to draw the seagulls closer.
As the seagulls swooped down towards her, the donut slipped from her hand, and she lay on the ground.
