Health authorities are warning West Australians to prepare for warmer weather with heatwave conditions expected for large parts of the state over the weekend and into early next week. The Bureau of Meteorology declares heatwaves when both the maximum and minimum temperatures are significantly higher than usual for the area over three or more consecutive days.
